Free Professional Development Workshops Assets for Artists November and December Workshop Registration is now open. All workshops are completely free and open to artists of all disciplines who are based in New England. Workshops include Power of Websites, Debt Management for Creatives, Beyond Arts Grants: Creative Solutions for Project Support, Artist Residencies 101, and Understanding an Artist’s Personal Finances. Call to Artists Apply For Cambridge KiOSK Residency to create installation or events. Local creatives, artists, performers, organizations, and community members are invited to apply to transform the City of Cambridge’s iconic KiOSK in Harvard Square into an urban field station for exploration, experimentation, and discovery. You may apply as a solo artist, or form a group and apply as a collective. They will select one individual or collective to be the installation resident for this season. Learn more.

Call to Artists Entries are currently being accepted for the South Shore Art Center exhibition Full Circle, juried by Andrew Fish. Fees: $30 for first three images. $10 for each additional image up to 6 total images. Learn more.

Public Artists Professional Development The Public Art Learning Fund provides grants of $500 to $3,000 to support professional development opportunities for New England artists to strengthen their public art practices. Through the Public Art Learning Fund, NEFA intends to foster the continued development of more equitable, inclusive, and vibrant public spaces and public life throughout New England. Learn more.

Artist Grants The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Artist Resource Trust (A.R.T.) Fund for Individuals. Artist’s Resource Trust was established in 1996 to provide support to the creative work of mid-career visual artists who have demonstrated substantial commitment, development, and quality in their work. A mid-career artist is defined as an artist who has been actively creating work and exhibiting it for at least 10 years. Grants awarded generally range from $1,000 to $10,000. Learn more.

Local Cultural Council Grants The largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, the Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program enriches the cultural life of all cities and towns in Massachusetts. Led by municipally appointed volunteers, LCCs award $6.6 million every year, supporting 7,400 cultural programs that include everything from field trips to lectures, festivals, and dance performances. Tribal Cultural Council Program Led by tribally appointed volunteers who administer an annual grant program to support local cultural projects. Individuals, groups, and organizations may apply. Grant amounts vary, and applications are submitted directly to each Tribal Cultural Council. Learn more.

Sell Your Art At Cambridge Arts Winter Art Market Want to sell your art at Cambridge Arts annual Winter Art Market? It will be held on Saturday, December 12th, and Sunday, December 13th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the 650 East Kendall St. area, in the heart of Kendall Square’s Canal District. Participation will be determined through a curatorial review process designed to ensure a broad diversity of artwork and products throughout the market. Cambridge Arts and BioMed Realty will work together to thoughtfully place vendors throughout the market and limit an over-concentration of similar styles or products. Call to Artists ArtsWorcester members are invited to participate in Small Works 2026, a non-juried members’ exhibition. All wall-hanging artworks, including sculptures that go on the wall, may not exceed 10” in any direction, including frame. Artworks that go on a pedestal may be no larger than 10” in height and 10” at the widest point. Beyond the size limit, there is no medium or theme requirement. All media are welcome, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, fine craft, digital art, and video. Learn more.

Grants for Creative Individuals Program The Mass Cultural Council is currently accepting applications for the Grants for Creative Individuals program. This program aims to equitably advance creative expression throughout the Commonwealth with unrestricted grants to Massachusetts artists, culture bearers, and creative individuals. Grants are $5,000. Grant Reviewers The New Jersey State Council on the Arts is looking for grant review panelists for its Fiscal Year 2028 (FY28) grant program opportunities, including: General Operating Support; General Program Support; Creative Aging Initiative; and the New Jersey Heritage Fellowship. They offer a stipend for the service. Learn more.

Cape Cod Artists Grants The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is now accepting applications for their Grants for Artists program which equitably advance creativity throughout Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket. The grant provides funding to individuals who demonstrate achievement of creative expression and commitment to their artistic/cultural practice. They welcome applications from Barnstable County, Dukes County, and Nantucket County artists, culture bearers, and creative practitioners in all artistic/creative disciplines. Learn more.

Cape Cod Artists Professional Development The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is now accepting applications for their Capacity-Building Program. A select cohort of artists chosen in January. Applications are juried by a panel of creative peers who have achieved success in their field, and understand the needs of Cape artists and the challenges they face. This program promotes equal opportunity and seeks diversity in its applicants and participants. If you have never received an artist grant, we encourage you to apply. Collective Works: Creative Entrepreneurship Summit on November 7, 2026 from 9:30am-4pm. Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s Collective Works brings together creative entrepreneurs from every discipline across Massachusetts for one day of candid conversations about what it really takes to thrive in today’s creative economy. Whether you’re an artist, designer, musician, freelancer, student, or founder — if your creative practice is your livelihood (or you’re building toward that), this summit is for you. Come exchange ideas with fellow creators, gain practical strategies from seasoned entrepreneurs, and connect with key support organizations at our resource fair. Tickets: $25 General Admission, $10 Student. Learn more.

Call to Artists The Bristol Art Museum is currently accepting entries for a regional juried exhibition, Here & Now. Submitted artwork may be contemporary, conceptual, traditional or literal responses reflecting the places, people, waterways, landscapes, architecture, working waterfronts, and communities that shape our region. Submit original work inspired by Rhode Island, the greater Narragansett Bay area, or the Southern New England region. Entry Fee: Up to three pieces may be submitted: $15 for the first entry, $25 for two entries,
$35 for three entries. Learn more.

Of Note: Be sure to Register to Vote in Massachusetts. The deadline to register to vote, update your registration, or change your party in Massachusetts is 10 days before any election or town meeting. The general election is November 3, 2026. Make sure you are registered and vote!
