Solo Artist Exhibition Proposals The Boston Center for the Arts is accepting proposals for a series of solo artist exhibitions to be presented in the Mills Gallery. Each 1:1 exhibition in the new series will be a collaborative project between one curator and one artist, and will either introduce a new artist or highlight a new aspect of a more experienced artist. Curator-In-Residence Program The Kris Waldman Curator-In-Residence Exhibit is named in honor of HCA’s founding co-director, who shares a great passion for art that fosters dialogue around diversity and inclusivity, particularly of underrepresented communities. The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) seeks to support an annual Curator-In-Residence program. Through a competitive proposal process, one individual or team will be chosen each year to curate a group art show centered on diversity and inclusion. The curator will also deliver a public presentation or workshop with an educational component. There is no submission fee to submit a proposal. Learn more.

South Coast LGBTQ+ Artists The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network and Gallery X will showcase the work of local LGBTQ+ artists at Gallery X in New Bedford. Bring your artwork, any medium, up to three pieces, and showcase it for free! Learn more.

Greater Boston Artist Funding The Collective Futures Fund supports visual artists and artist-run activity in the Greater Boston area through grants between $2,000 and $6,000. Learn more.

Performing Artists Fellowship Double Edge Theatre (DE) and Betty’s Daughter Arts Collaborative (BDAC) are currently accepting applications for the Art and Survival Fellowship. The Art and Survival Fellowship is a three-year training and performance opportunity that brings together established and emerging performance artists, educators, and activists to explore climate justice, cultural wellness, creative activation, site-responsive performance, and community-building across rural and urban geographies. Artist Residency Applications are now open for The Studios at MASS MoCA’s Winter/Spring 2022 residency season. Join the 700+ artists who have enjoyed an artist residency of up to 8 weeks on MASS MoCA’s historic mill campus in the Berkshire Mountains. Run by Assets for Artists (the artist-development arm of MASS MoCA), residencies will be scheduled from January – April, 2022, for the Winter/Spring season. Learn more.
