Creative Partners Wanted SeniorU, an organization that provides interactive programs for seniors, is seeking individuals or groups from the arts community to collaborate in offering enriching workshops and presentations for older adults at senior community centers, libraries, and living communities. SeniorU is seeking presenters in visual arts, music, dance, storytelling, or any other form of creative work to co-create unique presentations and activities that resonate with older adults. This is a paid, revenue-sharing partnership. Submit proposals that include 1. A description of the proposed activity; 2. Your geographic location and willingness/ability to travel; 3. Call to Artists Calling all artists inside the I-495 belt! Showcase Your Art in Downtown Brockton in 2024! Making it Public – Brockton seeks innovative and original submissions from visual artists, performers, musicians and storytellers to explore themes of Hope & Hopefulness, Light, Creativity, and Community/Unity. We invite submissions which challenge preconceived notions of Brockton, inspire conversation, rise above controversy, and collaborate on a shared vision of the city. Filmmakers The Ecoperformance Film Festival, produced in conjunction with the Brown Arts Institute, is currently calling for the submission of short ecoperformance films. Ecoperformance films explore our relationship to our local landscapes, be they urban, rural, or natural, to grapple with our contemporary environmental issues. Anywhere between 3 and 15 minutes, we are calling for films which engage with the concept of ecoperformance, whatever that might mean for the artist. We are open to a wide range of genres, including, but certainly not limited to, dance, animation, experimental, etc.! We are particularly looking for submissions from artists from, or connected to, the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area. Learn more.

Photography Award The Magnum Foundation is currently accepting entries for their 2024 Inge Morath Award. They are accepting applications for the Inge Morath Award, a $7,500 grant given to a woman or nonbinary photographer under the age of 30 to support the completion of a long-term documentary project. Call to Artists ImageOut Art and Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) invite artists to submit their work for the forthcoming juried exhibition, Queering Democracy: Art, Identity, and Politics in 2024. They welcome 2D, 3D, and electronic media that: showcases experiences, emotions, and thoughts on the evolving struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights and representation; channels queer history, beauty, politics, fierceness, and fabulousness; are documentary in nature, recording and reflecting on our history and current moment. They are especially interested in submissions of small series of works. Accepted artists will receive a stipend to help offset the cost of production or transport of their work. This exhibition will be juried by a diverse panel of arts professionals who identify as LGBTQIA+ The exhibition is a project of the ImageOut Art Committee in partnership with Rochester Contemporary Art Center. Call to Artists The Newton Free Library is currently accepting applications for exhibitions in our two exhibit spaces (Gallery and Main Hall). As one of the busiest public library buildings in Massachusetts, our galleries are highly sought after and well-loved by library patrons.
