Auditions Apollinaire Theatre Company, in collaboration with Teatro Chelsea, has announced open auditions for their upcoming outdoor summer production of Aeschylus’ “The Suppliant Women,” in a version by David Greig. This bilingual production promises to be a poignant exploration of timeless themes, staged against the beautiful backdrop of PORT Park on the Chelsea Waterfront. We are seeking individuals from the community to join us for this exciting project and thought you would be able to help us spread the word. Auditions are open to all community members, regardless of acting experience and/or English/Spanish language proficiency. Artist in Residence The Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, CA, is accepting applications for their Artist in Residence (AIR) program. The program offers fully sponsored residencies and studios to local, national, and international artists working in all disciplines. The Chamberlain Award: this fully sponsored artist residency and $10,000 prize will support an artist working in the social practice discipline. The award supports artists employing non-traditional media to creatively engage with social concerns of the day.
