Call for Art The Mosesian Center for the Arts invites artists to submit original hand printed work to Big Print/Little Print. Including but not limited to screen print, mono print, letterpress, woodcut, linocut, etching and stamped/stenciled work. “Big Print” work must be two feet by two feet or larger. “Little Print” work must be one foot by one foot or smaller. Native American Artist Residency Fellowship The Harpo Foundation’s Native American Residency Fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center Johnson, VT, is currently accepting applications. The Fellowship program was established to support the development of visual artists and the potential for intercultural dialogue. Each year, the Foundation awards two residency fellowships to Native American visual artists at the Vermont Studio Center. Each Fellow receives a one-month residency, which includes room and board, a private studio, and a $500 travel stipend. Learn more.

Site-Specific Art The Umbrella Musketaquid Arts & Environment program seeks site-specific artwork for the Art Ramble 2017 outdoor exhibition, Slow Eyes, Solace & Site, to be installed in the Concord Hapgood-Wright Town Forest June 5, 2017- September 30, 2017. In honor of Henry David Thoreau’s 200th birthday this exhibit encourages artists to create work that slows the viewer’s experience of the natural world. What can we learn from looking and how long does it take us to see? As a species we can now exist without stepping foot in the woods. But happens when we do? How can makers reflect their own vision of nature to the audience in a way that reveals deeper connections, looking and questions? Selected artists receive $100. Learn more.
