Musicians The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is accepting applications from individual musicians, groups and ensembles for their concert programs. NEMPAC produces regular concert programs annually, featuring local professional musicians in Boston. Formerly called the Professional Musicians Series, consists of a set of recitals designed to present creative classical music programs to Boston and New England. Our concerts feature both local Boston professional artists and musicians, as well as highly acclaimed musicians from America and around the world. Call for Poetry Art on the Trails is currently accepting entries. We invite poets to join us for a walk through Beals Preserve, where you will find art installations from local and regional artists. Experience the art and then respond to it in a poem. The top 26 poems submitted (two for each art work) will be published in the seventh edition of Art on The Trails, due out in September 2024. Call for Art The New Art Center, on behalf of Chestnut Hill Square, seeks an artist or artist team to develop and install a bold, and site-specific work of temporary public art to enhance the visitor experience. To be installed in September 2024 and on view through Spring 2025, the project should be designed to be maintained and to withstand the elements. $11,000 for an artist/artist team, inclusive of all project development, material, supplies, building, installation and maintenance. The competition is open to established professional artists living in the Northeast who are able to deliver, install and maintain the project for the full installation duration. Only professional artists with reviewable portfolios are eligible. The artist selection panel will consider artistic diversity as one factor in the selection process. Learn more.

Collage Artists The Collage Games Artist Residency is a week-long, in-person residency in New Orleans in which artists will explore how to adapt their collage practice to game design or incorporate games and play as a theme in their artwork. Artist Residencies for Glass Artists Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY, is currently accepting applications for two residency programs: Black, Indigenous, & People of Color Residency Artists spend five weeks at The Studio exploring new directions in glassmaking or expanding on their current bodies of work while using the immense resources of the world’s leading glass museum. Clay Artists The Society of Arts & Crafts is accepting entries for their upcoming online and published exhibition, What’s Your Story? Narrative Clay Today.
