Poets The Snowbound Chapbook Award is open to anyone writing in the English language, whether living in the United States or abroad. Translations are not eligible for this prize, nor are previously self-published books. Employees of Tupelo Press and authors with books previously published by Tupelo Press are not eligible. Poets submitting work for consideration may be published authors or writers without prior book publications. Recent winners include Kathleen Jesme, Deborah Flanagan, and Allan Peterson. Final Judge: Brenda Shaughnessy. $1,000 Prize. Learn more.

Performing Artists New England States Touring (NEST) Grant funds presentations of New England-based performing artists from outside of a presenter’s state. Learn more.

Call to Artists The Arts Committee of the Acton Memorial Library invites Massachusetts artists to submit work for consideration for exhibitions in the Library’s Meeting Room gallery. The Committee will review work for one-person shows and will set an exhibition schedule for September 2016 through August 2017. Various media including painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, textiles and mixed media are eligible. Sculptural work will be considered for spaces on the second floor and the locked case in the lobby. Learn more.

Craft Artists  The Fuller Craft Museum’s 2016 Biennial Members Exhibition is currently accepting entries. The exhibition will be Saturday, June 25, 2016 – Sunday, September 18, 2016. The juror is James Lawton, Professor of Ceramics and Director of the Department of Artisanry, the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Learn more.
