Exhibition Proposals The Piano Craft Gallery is announcing its call for exhibition proposals for the 2025 calendar year. PCG is dedicated to highlighting the diversity of art-making of Boston’s residents and this mission guides the gallery in exhibiting the work of artists from various cultures, races, and socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. Solo or group show proposals will be juried by a board of directors, and a strong emphasis will be placed on the quality of work paired with plans for community engagement. Accepted artists will host three week long exhibitions, and will be required to gallery sit during our open hours (Fridays 6-8PM, Saturdays 12-5PM, and Sundays 12-5PM). Learn more.

Arts Writers Grant The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant supports emerging and established writers who write about contemporary visual art. Ranging from $15,000 to $50,000 in three categories—articles, books, and short-form writing—the grants support projects addressing both general and specialized art audiences, from short reviews for magazines and newspapers to in-depth scholarly studies. The program also supports art writing that engages criticism through interdisciplinary methods and experiments with literary styles. The Collective Futures Fund is an initiative directly supporting visual artists and artist-run activity in the Greater Boston area through grants between $2,000 and $7,500. The Fund helps incubate artists’ visions for their own independent platforms and research to support the futures of our vibrant local artist communities. Craft Artists Wayne Art Center is seeking submissions for the 29th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft, in the following mediums: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Work created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools also is eligible. Selected works will be on display in the Davenport Gallery of Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania from December 7, 2024 through January 25, 2025.
