Ceramic Artist-in-Residence The Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill is accepting applications for their second annual Ceramic Artist-in-Residence Program. They are looking for two early-career clay artists to come live and make ceramic art work from January 5 – April 5, 2015. Residents will share furnished housing, studio space and an art exhibition upon completion of the residency for $400/month. Visual and Performing Artists Visual and performing artists working in all media are invited to participate in the 7th annual city-wide Cambridge Arts Open Studios May 9th and 10th. Artists can either open their personal studio to the public or participate in common venues located throughout Cambridge. Cambridge Arts invites performing artists to showcase their work by pairing with a studio artist or common venue. Learn more

New Media Entries are now being accepted for CURRENTS 2015: 6th Santa Fe International New Media Festival. Categories include: new media installations, outdoor architectural mapping and new media installations, single channel video and animation, multimedia performance, digital dome, experimental or interactive documentary, web-art/art-gaming/mobile device apps, oculus rift, robotics and 3D printing. Learn more.

Science in Art Maninfest in Cincinnati, Ohio, is currently accepting entries for SCIENTIFICOUS, an International Call for Entries Exploring the Art of Science or Science In Art, a competitive international exhibition of works exploring the theme of the art of science and science in art. Student Jewelry and Metalsmithing Artists The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) invites student jewelry and metalsmithing artists to submit work that demonstrates the relationship between heritage and innovation. IMPACT will be held onsite in conjunction with the 2015 Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) Conference on May 20-23, 2015. All students, whether part time or full time, under the direction of faculty in any North American degree/diploma/certificate-granting institution are welcome to apply. Call For Proposals TransCultural Exchange is Currently Seeking Proposals for its 2016 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts: Expanding Worlds (February 25th – 27th, 2016) to take place at Boston University, with panels, tours and presentations also at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, among others. Artist Fellowships for Cape Cod Residents The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod has announced the availability of Fellowships to provide direct, unrestricted funding to Cape Cod artists in recognition of exceptional work and to foster the creation of new original work. Curatorial Proposals The New Art Center is currently accepting curatorial proposals for their Curatorial Opportunity Program (COP). Their 2,500 square-foot gallery is a converted church with a 25-foot vaulted ceiling. Curators of accepted proposals receive a 1,000 USD stipend as well as administrative, installation, marketing & P.R. support. Learn more.
