Creative Youth Development The Creative Economy Pathways Virtual Town Hall Series explores how Creative Youth Development is expanding career pathways for young people through arts-based experiences and youth leadership. Hosted by Creating Abundance Collaborative, the 2026 online series brings together local and national voices for monthly conversations on the future of work, creativity, and opportunity. Designed for Creative Youth Development leaders and practitioners, teaching artists, workforce development professionals, employers and industry partners, funders, researchers, policymakers, and young adults interested in creative careers. Of Note: The Massachusetts Storyteller of the Year Award, launched in 2025, honors artists and changemakers who deepen our understanding of Massachusetts, its communities, and the power of the humanities to shape a more just future. This year, the event is being hosted by Mass Humanities, in partnership with Mass Cultural Council and the Governor’s Office. This year’s ceremony honors Afro-Puerto Rican dance and music group Bomba de Aquí, as well as Monte Belmonte and Kaliis Smith of New England Public Media’s The Fabulous 413. Printmakers The Monotype Guild of New England invites members in good standing to submit up to two monotypes or monoprints for an exhibition at the Menino Arts Center in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid exhibition, combining an online 3D virtual gallery on the Menino Arts Center website, along with a selection of work to be exhibited in person. This exhibit is not juried. Selection of works will be curated by the MGNE Exhibitions team. All participating artists will have one print exhibited in 3D digital gallery. Up to 60 prints will also be selected to by exhibited in-person at the Menino Arts Center gallery. Fee: Members $35. Not a current member? Artists-in-Residence 2026 Back for its second year, the Photographic Resource Center (PRC) Artist-in-Residence Program provides two artists working in photography and lens-based media with four weeks of studio space, mentorship, a $500 stipend, and a final exhibition. New this year, selected artists will also have access to a digital lab, darkroom, and alternative process lab through a partnership with Lesley University. Learn more.
