This 12-month advocacy leadership development program for moderately experienced activists and community leaders. Selected fellows will spend one year receiving training, information, and networking from experienced organizers and leaders within the creative sector to become more effective local and statewide arts champions. Artist Residencies The 2025 Residencies at the Studios at MASS) MOCA are now open. Fellowships and financial aid are available. They are currently seeking applications for two- and four-week residencies from July – December 2025. Guggenheim Fellowships The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation offers fellowships to exceptional individuals in pursuit of scholarship in any field of knowledge and creation in any art form, under the freest possible conditions. Each year, the Guggenheim Foundation awards approximately 175 fellowships to individuals making their mark in the social sciences, the natural sciences, the humanities, and the creative arts. National Theatre Project Grant The National NTP grant is currently accepting applications. This grant supports the creation of new work. Calling all Dance and Circus Artists Applications are currently being accepted for the Next Steps for Boston Dance grant program. Designed to support original, innovative, and risk-taking artistic ventures to nurture and grow the careers of choreographers, Next Steps for Boston Dance responds to the needs of dance artists and circus artists working in multiple genres to have the flexibility to push creative boundaries, work in dedicated spaces, and have mentorship and/or skill development opportunities. Six to seven grants will be awarded to artists with an emphasis on including a variety of genres. Selected Artists will be at different career stages: at the beginning of a professional career, mid-career, and well-established. Learn more.
