Mass Open Studios Nov-Dec 19

Mass Cultural Council believes that the work of individual artists is at the core of our vital communities. If you’re interested in supporting and connecting with artists in your very own neighborhood, open studios events are a great way to do so.

Check out these open studios events in Massachusetts* this November and December.

    Newburyport ArtWalk takes place on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 from 10 a.m – 6 p.m. featuring galleries, open studios & partners. The public is invited to take a self-guided tour of the Newburyport galleries and partner sites in a casual reception environment. The Fall ArtWalk features new studio participants, special exhibits, artist discussions, demonstrations and more. They are free and open to the public. ArtWalk 2019 participants include: Alan Bull Studio, Firehouse Center for the Arts, Indigo Artist Studio, Newburyport Art Association, Newburyport Framers, Paper Moon Artisan Gallery, Paula Estey Gallery, Sisters We Three, Sweethaven Gallery, and Valerie’s Gallery. ArtWalk partner businesses include: Beach Plum Too, Commune Cafe, Jim Bragg of Coldwell Banker, the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, Middle Street Foods, Pam Older Designs, Plum Island Coffee Roasters, Re/Max on the River, Soufflés and Strem Chemicals.     Saturday December 7 downtown Plymouth.

    Artist Demonstrator and Open House at Events Boutique 52 Court St downtown Plymouth on Saturday December 7 from 11- 4 pm for Plymouth 1st Saturdays. Artist Mary Johannesen will folk paint a decorative pine Sled. Other 9 x 11 Sleds will be for Sale. Custom orders accepted. Boutique sells unique gifts and mens hats. Sleds are crafted by Martin Murphy, Plymouth. Gary Wass, proprietor. All are Welcome.

    Annual Open Studio April 4th & 5th 2020 @ 213 California Street, Newton, MA
    We are a non-profit co-op of 30 artists = Turtle Studios
    Open to public free admission with lots of refreshments
    Sculpture, mixed media and Painting
