Of Note:The Brown University Art Slide Library is giving away 300,000 glass mounted 35mm slides! If you are interested in a random selection of slides of images ranging from the Prehistoric Era – 2010 (heavy on Impressionist and Renaissance) let them know. They cannot hand-select slides, but can try to focus on one period or another as possible. The deadline for requests is TODAY, July 1. You will need to pick up the slides on the Brown Campus. Call to Artists The Dedham Square Artist Guild invites all artists working in all mediums to submit work for their Identity. Open to artists working in all mediums. This show will be displayed at the Dedham Community Theater. Learn more.

Fiction Bard College is accepting entries for their Bard Fiction Prize. A prize of $30,000 and a one-semester appointment as writer-in-residence at Bard College is given annually to a U.S. fiction writer under the age of 40. Learn more.

Artist Residency Applications are now being accepted for the Contemporary Artists Center, Woodside’s (Troy NY) residency program. Two neo-gothic stone church buildings now house our artist program and welcome artists from all over the U.S. and abroad.The CAC is located 2.5 hours north of NYC, and is currently accepting applications for the Fall season. Fellowships available. All residency artists receive some level of financial assistance. Learn more.
