Exhibition Proposals The Brookline Arts Center accepts exhibition proposals on a rolling review. Their call for exhibition proposals encourages solo artists and groups of all levels to organize and present a professional exhibition with the guidance and support of their staff. The BAC’s gallery hosts three to four solo or group proposed exhibitions each calendar year. Learn more.

Call for Trans Artists The Boston LGBTQIA Artist Alliance is an artist run, volunteer organization, is currently accepting entries for their tentatively titled exhibition at Gallery 263 called TRANS/DRAW. The exhibition is an opportunity to survey trans artists working in and around Boston on ways in which they incorporate drawing into their practice and their experience as transgender. Submitted work can manifest in a wide range of media from drawings on paper to live performances, however a coherent link to drawing must be made. The juror is Cobi Moules. Learn more.

Call for Art Enrtries are now being accepted for the 17th Annual Frances N. Roddy Competition at the Concord Art Association (September 15 – October 20, 2016). The juror is Katherine French, Gallery Director for Catamount Arts. Learn more.

Emerging Writer Award Entries are now being accepted for the Key West Literary Seminar’s Emerging Writer Awards. Three prizes valued at $4,000 each are given annually for a group of poems, a short story, and a novel-in-progress by writers who have not published a book with a major publisher. The winners will each receive $500 and full tuition, airfare, and lodging to attend the Key West Literary Seminar and Workshop Program in January 2017 in Key West, Florida.

Emerging Artist Fellowship The Walter Feldman Fellowship for Emerging Artists supports the careers of young artists through the experience of a solo exhibition and provides them with curatorial support, as well as expert counsel in marketing and business skills needed to fully leverage this opportunity. The Fellowship is open to artists working in 2D media other than photography who are under the age of 40 and have yet to have their first solo exhibition. Learn more.
