Of Note: 5th Annual National Choreography Month Boston Final Performances. Packed with fresh new work, the performances will celebrate the vibrant creativity of the Boston dance scene and hopes to forge new artistic connections that will strengthen our community. Poetry, Fiction, and Creative Nonfiction Entries are currently being accepted for the Iowa Review Awards. Three prizes of $1,500 each and publication in Iowa Review are given annually for works of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Learn more.

Emerging Choreographer Residency Green Street Studios is offering an emerging choreographer’s residency with 12 weeks of community and studio support for the creation of new work. Shared 2-night weekend performance. All dance genres are encouraged to apply. Learn more.

Artist Residency MFA Art Practice at the School of Visual Arts invites emerging and mid-career artists working in all disciplines to apply for the inaugural Art Practice Artist -in- Residence program. Selected candidates will receive a studio, access to the facilities, including the Metal Shop, Wood Shop, Digital Sculpture Center, Digital Editing Lab, Fibers Lab, Ceramics Lab and Nature and Technology Lab, and a $2500 stipend. Photographers Hope & Feathers Framing and Gallery in Amherst, MA, announces the call for entries for their 2nd Biennial Juried Photography Show. Open to all photographers, the gallery calls for submissions in response to the concept of “Strength.” The show will be juried for awards by a conference of three nationally recognized photography experts: Stephen Petegorsky, Stacy Waldman, and Frank Ward. A $350 cash prize will be awarded for best in show. The show will be on exhibit in April and May. Learn more.

Call to Artists Celebrate 200 years of the Bulfinch Meetinghouse, a National Heritage Landmark in Lancaster. Entries are now being accepted for the national juried exhibtion including cash prizes. Artwork can include paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture/3-D artwork. For paintings/prints/framed artwork, please limit the size to no larger than 18? x 24? unframed, or a 2’x4? limit to other media/3D, with the exception of quilts, where there is no size limitation. Call to Artists Apply to the 35th Annual Codman Estate Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, a juried fine arts festival featuring more than 100 artists and their wares, including: clothing, fiber, folk art, artisanal food, glass, jewelry, metalworking, painting, paper, photography, potter, printmaking, soft sculpture, toys, and woodworking. Call to Painters Entries are now being accepted from Edgewater Gallery in Middlebury, VT, for their 2017 juried exhibition, The Color of Light. Cash prizes of $1000, $500, & $250. Call to Artists Peripheral ARTeries is looking for artists to be featured in the new Biennial Edition of their art publication, that will explore and show current trends and tendencies in Contemporary Art. Open to all forms of art and media with a particular focus on works capable of challenging the viewers’ traditional perspective on art itself. There are no entry fees and each artist may submit a maximum of three works or projects made in any technique.
