This coming Saturday, there will be a day-long workshop for artists across disciplines presented by the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) in partnership w/ARTMORPHEUS. The workshop presenter is Amber Hawk Swanson, a professional development and grants writing consultant as well as a video and performance artist.
Topics will include:

Crafting effective goals and objectives
Defining Yourself and Defining Your Audience
Speaking and writing about your work
Marketing Strategies (Including Using the Internet as a Tool)
Networking for Artists
Review of Artist “Packet”
Audience Development
Funding your work
Saturday, December 11, from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Boston Center for the Arts, Plaza Black Box Theater, 539 Tremont St., Boston, MA. Fee: $40/$25 (non-member/member/student) payable to the BCA, includes lunch. Pre-registration required.
