Mass Cultural Council, your state agency supporting arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences, is grateful to share that yesterday (Wednesday, February 15, 2023), we celebrated a historic public investment into the Commonwealth’s creative and cultural sector.
In a packed Great Hall at the Massachusetts State House, we announced awards totaling $51,063,360 to 5,218 recipients of the two Cultural Sector Recovery grant programs.
The grants will support creative individuals and cultural organizations across the state as the sector transitions to a post-pandemic world.
