Hi. This is a great asset for Boston-area artists like me. I appreciate it a lot.
Just one question/comment/quibble: Why is this page (https://artsake.massculturalcouncil.org/hermetic-artist-opportunities/?fbclid=IwAR18byXr0JrcybjDqwkwNRl-6_PkcTz7kOBa6acvtp04LUfaaLkzL5GuciU) labeled “Hermetic Artist Opportunities”?
I thought I knew what “hermetic” means, and I looked it up:
: of or relating to the mystical and alchemical writings or teachings arising in the first three centuries a.d. and attributed to Hermes Trismegistus
b : relating to or characterized by subjects that are mysterious and difficult to understand : relating to or characterized by occultism or abstruseness :
But it didn’t help me understand what I’m missing in this page’s title.
Again, thanks for the art opp info.
Regards, Paul Angiolillo

Thanks for the kind words! We meant the title to be a pun on the image at the top, which is a hermit crab made of hand-blown glass, by artist Isabel Green.

Most of these entries are past deadline. Know a lot of gallery shows are being cancelled or postponed.
