Professional Development Program for Musicians Applications are currently being accepted for the Music to Life’s Musician Changemaker Accelerator Academy (MCA) program. Ten competitively selected socially conscious musicians from around the country will receive cash and services worth $10,000 including: a $500 participation stipend, weekly instructional training in program and grants development, networking sessions with like-minded entrepreneurial artists and thought leaders, 30+ hours of intensive 1:1 coaching, and $2,000 matching seed funding and $500 for a community partner to launch a program pilot. Dancers Mark DeGarmo Dance is seeking 10-second long video submissions from anyone (artists of any discipline, non-artists, dancers or non-dancers) who wants to move and share their expression. All submissions will be compiled into one final Global Dance Circle video and shared on social media. Their 10th Global Dance Circle video will be shared on December 21st (the winter solstice) with the theme: “Celebration.” Professional and recreational dancers are all invited to submit a clip. Boston Area Artist Awards Artadia is now accepting applications for the 2025 Boston Artadia Awards from all visual artists who have lived and worked within Bristol, Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk Counties for a minimum of two years. Individual artists and collaboratives working in all visual media and at any stage in their career are strongly encouraged to apply. Awardees will be selected through a two-tier jury process that employs a panel of leading curators in the fall of 2025. Artadia Awardees are selected through a two-tier jury process that combines local expertise with outside perspective from leading curators. A preliminary panel will evaluate all online submissions and select six Finalists in late-September. A second panel will conduct virtual studio visits with each Finalist, gaining a broader context for the artists’ work.
