Feel the Beat of Artist Opportunities

Quiz time: who can name the squiggly-shaped horn hanging on the wall behind the clarinetist?

Digital Art Entries are now being accepted for IDEAS_12, an exhibition of innovative digital art work. The exhibition coincides with the tenth annual International Digital Media and Arts Association (IDMAA) conference, to be held on the campus of The New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. Works may be interactive pieces, animation, video, imagery, virtual spaces, sound, sculpture and hybrid media. Any piece using digital innovation to communicate an aesthetic idea is welcome. Poets California State University is currently accepting entries for the Philip Levine Prize in Poetry, a prize of $2,000 and publication by Anhinga Press. Cornelius Eady will judge. Submit a manuscript of 48 to 80 pages. Learn more.

Fellowships Fellowships of $70,000 each, office space at the Radcliffe Institute, and access to the libraries at Harvard University are given annually to artists in a variety of disciplines to allow them to pursue their creative projects. The fellowship period lasts from September through May. Learn more.

Small Works Exhibition The Torpedo Factory Art Center is currently accepting entries for their international exhibition 5×5(x5). Submitted work cannot exceed 5″ in any direction. All media accepted. Learn more.

Exhibition Opportunity Redux, a contemporary art venue in South Carolina is offering opportunities for emerging, mid-career, and established artists to exhibit in historic downtown Charleston, SC.
