Cambridge Artists The City of Cambridge invites local artists to submit their work to the Vacant Storefront Creative Design Contest. The program from Cambridge’s Community Development Department, with support from Cambridge Arts, aims to energize neighborhoods by filling empty store windows with reproductions of locally-made art. Six finalists, chosen through a jury and public voting process, will each be awarded a $1,000 prize. These winning designs will be available for Cambridge property owners to print and display in vacant ground-floor storefronts throughout the city. Learn more.

Visual Artists, Photographers Innovate Grants is currently accepting submissions. They offer awards (2) $1880.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition to receiving a grant award, winners will be featured and recognized on their website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Visual Artists and Photographers 18 years and older, from all around the world, are eligible to apply. All media and genres are accepted. All applicants retain the right to the work they submit. Call for Artists The New Hampshire Art Association (NHAA) is seeking new members. Twice a year the NHAA holds New Member Jurying, an opportunity for artists from around New England working in all mediums and styles, to submit their work for review by a panel of jurors for consideration of membership. Call for Artists Mosaic Art Collective in partnership with the New Hampshire Art Association (NHAA) invites submissions to Trash to Treasure. This environmentally conscious exhibition asks that artists reimagine materials from the waste stream. Open to New England Artists and all mediums as long as materials from the waste stream are incorporated in some way. Accepting 1-3 pieces per artist. Some examples include using cereal boxes as collagraph printmaking plates, turning single use plastic into assemblage sculptures, making collages using the inside of security envelopes or old books, or using recycled materials as props for a photoshoot. Fund for Performance Art The Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art offers grants that range between $2,000 and $10,000 based on the peer review panel allocation of funding. Artists from all areas of the world are encouraged to apply; however, artists selected by the panel are expected to present their work in New York City. Full-time students are ineligible. Learn more.

Cultural Trailblazers Creative Community Fellows New England connects cultural trailblazers across New England. It’s an eight-month fellowship starting in May that joins people using arts-based approaches to create positive change in their New England communities. Fellows will learn new tools from experienced faculty, form a community of practice, receive tailored support through leadership coaching sessions, and receive a stipend of up to $10,000 to help support participation. Call to Artists The Cape Cod Museum of Art is currently accepting entries to their exhibition In Tandem.
