The Historical Society donated the picture, a reproduction of an original 1766 pastel by artist Benjamin Blyth of Salem. What a wonderful way to kick off Women’s History Month. Thank you, Senate President Spilka, for inviting Mass Cultural to witness the unveiling of the Abigail Adams portrait that will now proudly hang in the Senate Lobby.
