National Latino Playwriting Award Submissions for the 2016 National Latino Playwriting Award are now being accepted. Latino playwrights residing in the United States, its territories or Mexico are encouraged to apply. Each script will be read and evaluated by a culturally diverse panel of theatre artists. Choreographers Fusionworks Dance Company invites choreographers from the Northeastern region of United States to submit their work to the 2016 Northeast Choreographers Festival to be presented in November of 2016 in Providence, RI. This year’s festival will showcase the works of four emerging and established choreographers from the Northeastern U.S. Three finalists will be paid a $1,000 stipend to do a week-long residency in either May, June, or August, during which they will set their work on Fusionworks Dance Company. Call to Artists Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill Gallery is inviting artists to submit their artwork in any medium for their juried exhibit What Have We Got to Lose? For this exhibit, artists are invited to submit their personal perceptions and impassioned images of what we may lose due to climate change. The jurors are Diana Hampe and Claudia Michael. Entry fee is $15 for up to five images in print format only (not matted or framed) for judging purposes only (minimum size 8”x10”).
