Choreographers Green Street Studios announces the Winter 2012 cycle of its Emerging Artists Award Program. This program is designed to provide infrastructure for choreographers, to create new work, and to provide deep, ongoing mentorship between experienced and early-to-mid-career choreographers. Professional Development: ARTmorpheus is offering classes for artists offered during the month of November. Classes include Credit Smart, Finding Affordable Health Care, and Individual Assistance with Recordkeeping and Tax Preparation. Learn more.

Professional Development: MCLA’s Berkshire Cultural Resource Center is offering professional development sessions for artists through their Tricks of The Trade program. Learn more.

Call to Artists The Easthampton City Arts is seeking artists/artisans to apply for exhibition for their 2012 exhibition season. The ECA+ Gallery is located in the Historic Town in Easthampton, home to other arts businesses and organizations. A wide-array of artists have exhibited their work in the ECA+ gallery representing a diverse range of media and stylistic considerations. All are encouraged to apply. Learn more. Call for Artists Submission for the MFA 2012 Community Arts Initiative: The Artist Project are now being accepted. The Artist Project is a collaborative exhibition between an established artist, eight after-school community organizations in the Boston area, the MFA, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. It culminates in a six month exhibition in the Linde Family Wing of the MFA. The selected artist will receive an honorarium as well as budget for supplies relating to the project. Learn more. Call to Artists Salon 241 in Northampton is  looking for artists who would like to display their work in their downtown salon. Interested artists should email their website and/or 4-6 jpgs of their work to them for consideration. Salon 241’s preference is to display artwork on the walls because their salon  has very limited floor space for sculptural work. Artists take 100% of the proceeds of any sales of work that result from displaying. Questions: salon241@gmail.com.
