Free Small Business Support for Creative Entrepreneurs 15-hour class for qualified applicants. The Bridges to Business Program is offering classes, coaching, and support services to help create and grow small businesses in MA. Arts Writers The Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program supports individual writers whose work addresses contemporary visual art through grants ranging from $3,000 to $50,000. Writers who meet the program’s eligibility requirements are invited to apply in the following categories: articles, blogs, books, new and alternative media, and short-form writing.
Deadline: June 8, 2011

Film and Video Artists LEF Foundation Moving Image Fund is accepting applications from independent film and video artists creating new work, focusing on documentary. Through the Moving Image Fund, LEF provides funding across all phases of production, supporting films from the early risk-taking stage, through a film’s completion. Learn more.

Combat Veteran Artists The UMass Student Union Art Gallery, the Fine Arts Center, and the Springfield Vet Center, in collaboration with UMass Veteran Services and the Veterans Education Project of Amherst, will be presenting an art exhibit by war veterans called Creative Expressions. Applications are now being accepted. Work must be created by combat veterans. Learn more.
