Artist Residency The Anni and Josef Albers Foundation maintains two residential studios for visiting artists who exemplify the seriousness of purpose that characterized both Anni and Josef Albers. Residencies are designed to provide time, space, and solitude, with the benefit of access to the Foundation’s archives and library. Residencies are awarded by invitation and by application. Photographers The Cultural Center of Cape Cod invites photographers  to submit images to their online competition, WANDERLUST. Capturing the essence of a culture and foreign land is a great challenge for any photographer, travel is all about seeing the world in new and different ways. Every destination has a story to tell, it is the senses and energy that we try and preserve through these images. Any and all methods of capture and process are welcome. All winners will be displayed in their online gallery First Place $500, Second Place $200 and Third Place $100. Learn more.

Call to Artists Gallery 263 in Cambridge, MA, invites artists to submit to their upcoming national juried exhibition Do You Remember? The theme of the exhibition is the subject of memory. Juried by Brooklyn based artist Cobi Moules. Open to all US residents. All visual and performance media (2D, 3D, time-based) will be considered. Learn more.

Filmmakers Entries are currently being accepted for the The WATERtown Film Fest. Their mission is to increase public awareness of the environmental, social, and cultural importance of water. Submissions which include water elements and themes in the following categories are accepted: animation, documentary, narrative, experimental. Learn more.

Visual Artist Residency The Goetemann Artist Residency fosters innovation and courageous artistic experimentation.  Their nurturing community supports cultural tolerance and the exchange of new ideas in the rich artistic and historic culture of Gloucester’s Rocky Neck artist colony. The Our Residency runs from June through October 2019, offering live-work space for one month each for: three visual artists and one environmental/installation artist. Call to Artists ARTE NATURA is a group exhibition exclusively for artists inspired by nature. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery in Hudson, NY, from May 9 – June 1, 2019. Eligible are all art forms relating to, or gaining inspiration from the natural world, open to all media. Learn more.

Boston Dancemakers Residency Applications are currently being accepted for the  2019-2020 Season of the Boston Dancemakers Residency, produced through a partnership between Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) and Boston Dance Alliance (BDA). The residency is designed to support experienced dancemakers in the development of original work by providing research, development, rehearsal, financial and production resources. These resources include a regional three-day retreat, six weeks of intensive studio time, discounted rehearsal space, a dancemaker stipend and rehearsal pay for up to six dancers. Learn more.

Call for Teaching Artists Amazing Things is looking for skilled, talented, inspired creative instructors to join their team for classes in the performing arts, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, and business for the arts. Classes can be taught to a variety of skill levels and ages ranging from 12 years of age to adult. Learn more.
