The Kingston Gallery, an artist-run cooperative in Boston’s SoWA neighborhood is reviewing applications for up to 4 new members.
Since its inception nearly thirty years ago, Kingston Gallery has empowered its artist-members through opportunities to exhibit work, join a community of fellow artists, and participate directly in the gallery’s operation. In addition to a solo show every two to three years in the Main gallery and a solo show in the Members’ gallery in alternate years, members have the opportunity to participate in at least one group show every year.
Membership responsibilities include attendance at monthly meetings, staffing the gallery once or twice per month, helping with the ongoing running of the gallery and $110 per month dues. (A one-time commitment fee of $200 is payable upon acceptance as a member.)
