Of Note: A free informal discussion on the intersection of arts and technology on Sunday, November 4th at Bocoup Loft, 355 Congress St., Boston, MA. Boston-area technology and arts organizations including community and industry groups, makerspaces, government agencies, and academic programs will introduce themselves and what they have to offer. This event is presented by Art Technology New England (ATNE), a non-profit dedicated to the growth, promotion, and cross-pollination of the New England art and technology community. RSVP requested.

Landscape Art The Newport Art Museum is now accepting submissions to the Museum’s online exhibition Legendary Landscapes: Real & Imagined. Submit a digital image of original artwork that you have created, representing landscapes real or imagined. The Best in Show winner will be given the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Museum’s Coleman Center. Classical/Contemporary, Jazz, World Chamber Music The Chamber Music America Residency Endowment Fund has a residency partnership program that supports ensembles and presenters in building audiences for classical/contemporary, jazz, and world chamber music through residency projects. Funding is specifically aimed at activities that take place in community settings and that are not part of a regular concert series. Learn more.

Call for Art The Monmouth Museum in NJ has announced a call for art for their 34th annual juried art exhibition. All media considered except film/video. Artists are requested to submit digital images in jpeg format on a CD. Submissions are limited to a maximum of two pieces. All artwork entered must be the artist’s original creations completed within the last five years, and must not have been exhibited in past Monmouth Museum exhibitions. Learn more.

Women’s Memoirs Submissions are sought for an anthology titled Times They Were A-Changing: Women’s Memoirs of the 60s and 70s. Contest prizes and publication opportunities (2,500 words max). Learn more.

Public Media Art The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) and Boston Cyberarts have a call for submissions for public media art for the Convention Center’s 80-foot-tall marquee. The videos should be reflective of gaming culture and will be played in conjunction with the 2013 PAX East convention. They want 30-second videos, animations or computer-generated works that use the entire Marquee in creative ways. Learn more.
