LGBTQ+ Filmmakers Wicked Queer: Boston’s LGBTQ+ Film Festival is now accepting earlybird submissions for their 2022 festival. The festival holds Juried awards for Best Feature, Narrative and Best Feature, Documentary. We also have audience awards for Best Narrative Feature, Best Feature Documentary, and Best in Show Short Film. Learn more and submit.

Emergency Grant The Joan Mitchell Foundation provides grants of up to $6,000 to US-based visual artists who have suffered significant physical losses after natural or man-made disasters. Learn more.

Artists Fellowship The Hamiltonian Artists Fellowship serves as a steppingstone for visual artists who have an active practice and are seeking assistance in creating a sustainable professional art career. The fellowship program seeks to create a stimulating environment for continued artistic and professional growth. Learn more.

Artist Funding The Artist’s Resource Trust (A.R.T.) Fund is currently accepting applications. Artist’s Resource Trust was established in 1996 to provide support to the creative work of mid-career (aged 35 and older) visual artists who have demonstrated substantial commitment, development and quality in their work. A.R.T.’s focus is on visual artists who live in New England (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT) and in the towns in NY that are part of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation’s catchment area as of 2015. Call to Artists Unbound Visual Arts announces two new calls for art for two separate exhibits: Teaching Children About Racial Justice and Invisible Disabilities. On July 22nd from 5:00-6:00 pm ET. The two Guest Curators will be present for a Q & A. Kyung Eun Lee, the Guest Curator for Teaching Children About Racial Justice, will answer questions starting at 5:00 pm and Samantha Joyce, the Guest Curator for Invisible Disabilities, will answer questions starting at 5:30 pm. Kyung Eun Lee holds a master’s degree from RISD Rhode Island School of Design in Global Arts and Cultures. Samantha Joyce holds a master’s degree in Museums, Galleries, and Contemporary Culture from University of Westminster in London UK. Register for this Q & A Zoom session here.

Furniture Makers The Society of Arts + Crafts is currently accepting applications for the 2021 John D. Mineck Furniture Fellowship, a prestigious, annual cash award of $25,000. The fellowship is intended to support an early-career furniture artist looking to fulfill an apprenticeship, further develop their skills, and/or make the transition to independence.
