Fiction, Poetry, and Creative Nonfiction The Briar Cliff Review’s 16th Annual Fiction, Poetry, and Creative Nonfiction contest is now accepting entries. $1000 first place for each category plus publication in Spring 2012. Learn more.

Photography The Houston Center for Photography is now accepting applications for their 2012 Fellowships program. This year’s juror is Christopher Rauchenberg of Blue Sky Gallery (Portland, OR). Learn more.

Professional Development Workshop for Touring The Network of Ensemble Theaters (NET) will be hosting a professional development workshop The ABCs Of Today’s Creative Touring Partnerships on November 16, 2011 (9am-5pm), The Paramount Center, Jackie Liebergott Black Box Theatre, 559 Washington Street, Boston, MA  Co-hosted by ArtsEmerson. $50 workshop fee; $40 for NET members. Choreographers and Dancers The Boston Dance Alliance’s Rehearsal and Retreat Fellowship application is now available. The BDA Rehearsal and Retreat Fellowship combines a three-day creative/rehearsal retreat for a choreographer and his/her dancers with additional funding to pay dancers during an extended rehearsal period. Two fellows will be selected for the fourth year of this project. Read more.

Call to Artist Easthampton City Arts+  is now accepting entries for their 3rd Annual Small Works Show, an exhibit that aims to benefit patrons and artists. The ECA+ Small Works exhibit is offering a cash and carry format in a salon style setting. The exhibit will run from December 8, 2011 – January 3, 2012.  Learn more.
