Photography Residencies Light Work in Syracuse, NY, is currently accepting applications for their Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Program. The residency includes a $5,000 stipend, a furnished artist apartment, 24-hour access to their state-of-the-art facilities, and staff support. Woodcut Prints BIG INK is pleased to partner with Shepherd Studio in Boston, MA for two one-day large woodcut printing sessions. They’ll be utilizing BIG INK’s giant 48″ x 96″ mobile etching press to pull prints on Sept 23rd & 24th. They invite artists, via a call-for-entry application process, to submit a proposal to create a woodcut, at least 24” x 36” in dimension, through bigink.org. Approximately fourteen proposals will be accepted and those selected are given two months to carve an image for printing day.
