Poet Travel Scholarship The Amy Lowell Poetry Traveling Scholarship is an award of approximately $54,000 is given annually to a U.S. poet for a year of travel and study abroad. Submit two copies of either up to 40 pages of poetry or a published book and up to 20 pages of poetry. Learn more.

Conference Scholarships Available Full and partial scholarships are available for the 2016 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts: Expanding Worlds are based solely on need: Only applicants with an annual, adjusted gross income of $25,000 or less will be considered. Learn more.

Of Note: Assets for Artists is accepting applications for its Matched Savings Program and fall Professional Development Workshops. Massachusetts artists of any income level and in all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Learn more.

Call for Work The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) and Boston Cyberarts are issuing the sixteenth call for media art to display on the Marquee at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. They are looking for 30-second videos, animations, or computer-generated motion works by Massachusetts artists that push the creative limits of this 80-foot, seven-screen, three-sided LED sculpture. Dance Film Festival Detour dance seeks entries for the 4th Annual Tiny Dance Film Festival (TDFF) in San Francisco. TDFF is a film festival that celebrates dances made for the screen created by both emerging and established filmmakers and choreographers from across the globe. Call for Articles Afterimage seeks submissions, particularly for exhibition and book reviews. In its fourth decade of publication, Afterimage is a journal at the cutting edge of contemporary media arts (including independent photography, film/video, and digital art), communication and media studies, and alternative publishing that also publishes some of the most significant historical studies in these fields. Call for Art The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art is currently accepting entries for their exhibition Blue Marble which refers to the color image of planet Earth. Contemporary original 2D and 3D work in any media, including paintings, prints, drawings, photography, sculpture, and fine craft produced within the last two years is accepted.     I believe the museum is the ‘San’ Louis Obispo museum.

    Amy – you’re right! Obispo Museum of Art is in San Luis (CA), not St. Louis (MO). We’ve corrected it.
