Choreographers Intimations Dance hosts the annual National Choreography Month (NACHMO) showing every February, showcasing new dance work created in the month of January for NACHMO. In the past two years, over 30 choreographers have participated in creating and presenting new dance work. Learn more.

Latino Playwrights The Arizona Theatre Company is seeking submissions for 2015 National Latino Playwriting Award are now being accepted. Latino playwrights residing in the United States, its territories or Mexico are encouraged to apply. Each script will be read and evaluated by a culturally diverse panel of theatre artists. Finalists will be judged by ATC artistic staff. Learn more.

Ten-Minute Plays CulturalDC has announced the Source Festival 2015 open-call for 10-minute play submissions. The Festival runs from June 5-28, 2015 and, in addition to other programming, will produce 18 10-minute plays. Playwrights are asked to submit 10-minute plays related to one of the following themes: Science & Soulmates, Mistakes & Media, Love & Botany. Learn more.

Artist Residencies Provincetown Community Compact is accepting applications for the Dune Shack Residencies in Cape Cod National Seashore, April through November. Weekly stays for artists, writers and the public; 3 three-week residencies for a visual artist, one with a $500 fellowship. Learn more.

Desert Writers The Ellen Meloy Fund Desert Writers Award is a prize of $3,000, given to a creative nonfiction writer who uses the desert landscape, ecosystem, geography, history, and/or experience as the foundation and inspiration for their literary project. Proposed projects should include creative time spent in a desert environment. Past recipients include Sarah Stewart Johnson and Michelle Lanzoni. Learn more.

Call to Artists Build Peace in currently accepting proposals for work  to coincide with their second Build Peace conference will take place on April 25 and 26, 2015 in Nicosia, Cyprus. The following media are accepted: visual 2D and 3D, sculpture, mixed media, film, new media, theatrical and performance, of individual artists or collaborative works. Works can be thematic or site-specific. Their venues include interior and exterior spaces and small public plazas directly abutting the UN checkpoint crossing between North and South Nicosia at Ledras Street / Locmaji. Build Peace has $4,000 to distribute for multiple, small awards, and more funding may become available as the conference date approaches. Learn more.

Printmaking Residency Zea Mays Printmaking is offering a subsidized fellowship for a 2-week residency in their printmaking studio to one printmaker who demonstrates artistic excellence, accomplishment to date, and the intention of future achievement in the field of solvent-free printmaking.
