Dance Residency The Boston Center for the Arts is accepting applications for the 2013-2014 season of the Dance Residency program. Residency sessions for this season are: Monday, October 21 – November 24, 2013 (5 weeks) Monday, January 6 – Sunday, February 2, 2014 (4 weeks) Monday, May 19 – Sunday, June 22, 2014 (5 weeks) . Emerging Directors and Choreographers The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) Observership Program grants emerging Directors and Choreographers 25 paid opportunities to observe the work of master Directors and Choreographers as they create productions on Broadway. Each Observer receives a grant of a weekly stipend of $200 and a project travel stipend. In addition, any Observer who is not already a Member of SDC will be awarded a free one-year SDC Associate Membership. Learn more.

Bike Rack Design the Easthampton City Arts is seeking designs for permanent, artist-designed outdoor bicycle racks to be located in Easthampton, MA. Open to all Massachusetts residents 18 years and older. A total of two proposals will be selected by an ECA sub-committee of local arts advocates, bicycle advocates, and other community members. Selection criteria will be aesthetics, functionality, originality, safety, and durability. Winning entries will receive a $2500 honorarium. Learn more.

White Line Art The Larkin Gallery in Provincetown, MA, is now accepting submissions for a white line art exhibit.  To Apply: e-mail up to three high definition images; select one image as your priority (artist’s choice) for exhibition, the other two will be juried; list the title and size of each piece; include your name and contact information; send images and contact info to: director@LarkinGallery.com. All decisions will be made after June 26, 2013. Drop off instructions will be announced then. There is no fee, though the work must be available for sale. Artist will receive 50%, if sold. Work must be professionally framed and wired for hanging. An opening reception will occur on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 7:00pm.

Watercolor Painters Entries are now being accepted for the New England Watercolor Society’s 2013 Regional Show. Work must be painted with aqua media on paper, unvarnished and framed under plexiglass. No color Xerox copies, color lasers, monotypes, pastels or computer generated work. Learn more.
Deadline: August 15, 2013
