Art Vendor Opportunity Student and community artists to apply for an art vendor opportunity at an upcoming youth-led immigration justice and awareness event in Holyoke, MA on Saturday, June 20th. They are a female-led, youth activism group based in Holyoke through Girls Inc., organizing an event centered on celebrating immigrant communities and raising awareness about ICE in Western Massachusetts. The event will include a “Know Your Rights” training on interacting with ICE, along with resources such as local support networks and ways to get involved in immigrant justice work. The event will also include live music and personal stories shared by community members affected by the ICE presence in Western Mass. Free meals and drinks from immigrant-owned restaurants are also provided to art vendors. There is no cost to participate as a vendor, and artists will keep 100% of their profits, though donations are appreciated. Opportunity for both student and seasoned artists to share and sell their work in a supportive space. All types of art are welcome. Artwork does not need to be immigration-related, though it is encouraged. Learn more and then apply.
