Artist Opportunities in the Mind’s Eye

Call For Proposals FRAME 301, Montserrat College of Art is looking for installation artists located in the greater Boston area. They seek site-specific work to be exhibited monthly in its alternative, street-side gallery window, located in downtown Beverly, MA. Frame 301 hosts a variety of artistic mediums and motives that strive to connect to the innovative and energetic Beverly and Montserrat communities. Proposals must include artist’s written concept, visual examples of how the artist intends to use the space, and a resume with complete contact information. Be sure to read their blog. Musicians Club Passim’s Iguana Music Fund awards grants between $500 and $2,000 to individual artists with an affiliation to New England either by residence or tour history for specific career building projects. Areas of support may include (but are not limited to): recording or manufacturing assistance, publicity and marketing support, instrument repair or replacement, additional equipment and instruments, special projects and other specific activities promoting artistic and/or professional growth. The grants are open to any artist in any musical genre with ties to New England. Learn more.
