Call for Art Plymouth Center for the Arts encourages member artists to explore the profound, and sometimes quiet, shifts in life, emotion, and perception in Transitions, the early autumn exhibit. Puppetry Residency The Jim Henson Foundation Puppetry Residency expands and broadens the work of the National Puppetry Conference by partnering with the O’Neill to provide space and support to an artist/company working on the final stages of a new work of puppet theater. Residencies may be between 2-3 weeks, can support up to 10-12 project participants, and covers full room and board. Learn more.

Clay Artists The Worcester Center for Crafts invites ceramic artists to take part in a celebration of one of pottery’s most beloved forms: the bowl. From breakfast tables to gallery pedestals, bowls carry stories, function, beauty, and creativity in equal measure. The Center is looking for works that surprise, comfort, delight, and showcase the incredible versatility of clay. Nationally recognized ceramic artist, Stuart Gair, has invited 20 ceramic artists and will be jurying the remainder of the participating artists. This exhibition will be on view and for sale in The Krikorian Gallery at the Worcester Center for Crafts as well as listed in the online store. Visual Artist Grant The Pollock-Krasner Foundation is accepting applications for the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant for visual artists. The Foundation provides unrestricted financial resources to exceptional visual artists. The grants can be used in any way that allows an artist to meaningfully pursue their practice. Grants are typically used to create new work, acquire supplies, rent studio space, prepare for exhibitions, attend a residency, and offset living expenses. Learn more.
