Call for Art ART in the PARK is an annual juried art event sponsored by the Artists’ Group of Charlestown, in cooperation with the Friends of City Square Park. ART in the PARK 2013 will be held in City Square Park, Charlestown, MA on Saturday September 7th , 2013 (rain date Sunday September 8th). Learn more.

Plays and Musicals for Young Audiences Applications are now being accepted online for participation in New Visions/New Voices 2014, a biennial developmental workshop for new plays and musicals for young audiences at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. At least five U.S. plays, one international play in English, and one ‘translation project’ play will be workshopped. Learn more.

Artist Residency Applications are now being accepted for the Dance Complex’s I-ARE (Integrated Artists Residency Exchange). Interested artists can come from any discipline as long as movement is integral to their work. Applicants should be able to articulate the “next” in their arts practice and how it might intersect the community at The Dance Complex. Learn more.

Full-Length Plays The The Yale Drama Series is seeking original, unpublished, full-length plays written in English. No translations, musicals, or children’s plays. The winner will receive the David C. Horn Prize of $10,000, publication of the manuscript by Yale University Press, and a staged reading at Lincoln Center Theater. Learn more.

Dance/Choreography Workshop Lab Applications are now being accepted for the Dance Complex’s aMaSSiT (a Make it/Share it/Show it) workshops. Open to dancers/movers and those interested in production and translating dance to the public. It is possible that a person at any stage in their career could participate. Work associated with the Lab will be eligible for production in a fall concert at The Dance Complex. Learn more.

Photographers Entries are now being accepted for the Photography Center of Cape Cod’s online exhibition Water. They are seeking water photography in all its forms. The Juror’s Selection Winner will win a $500 cash prize, a book of all the winning entries, and their image featured in an Online Exhibition. The Director’s Selection Winner will win a $250 cash prize, a book of all the winning entries, and their image featured in an Online Exhibition. Learn more.

LGBTQ Artists’ Residency The Fire Island Artist Residency FIAR will provide free live/work space to five selected artists-in-residence. Learn more.

Women Photographers Women in Photography in New York  is currently looking for submissions for their 2013 exhibition schedule. Submissions are open to women photo-based artists at any stage in their careers. Women in Photography is a not-for-profit online exhibition project. There are no fees for submission or exhibitions.
