Pollock-Krasner Foundation
Thanks to the altruistic vision of the renowned abstract expressionist painter Lee Krasner, financial assistance is available to visual artists who are painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. The foundation encourages applications from artists who have genuine financial needs that are not necessarily catastrophic. Grants are intended for a one-year period of time. And since it was founded in 1985, Pollock-Krasner has awarded 3,205 grants totaling over $50 million to artists in 72 countries.
