Of Note: The Future of Creative Workforce Development and Entrepreneurship, in partnership with MassCreative and Artists for Humanity. Thursday, March 13th, 2025, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available. This event will be live-streamed and recorded. Currently, public and private infrastructures that support artists, cultural workers, and arts organizations through creative workforce advancement or economic development are unstable. At the same time, new technology such as generative AI threatens artistic intellectual property; skyrocketing costs of living threaten displacement; and traditional methods used to evaluate the long-term impact of a creative economy on communities threaten to fall to federal chaos. Career or entrepreneurial pathways into the arts sector and creative economy look more uncertain than ever. These conditions demand new approaches, new cross-industry partnerships, and even new language to shape a different foreseeable future. Join us as we learn from leaders who discuss and explore the challenges, opportunities, and tactics in driving towards a more collaborative and integrative creative economy and arts sector. The Edgerley Center for Civic Leadership at the Boston Foundation, 75 Arlington Street, 3rd Floor, Boston. Register Now.
