Arts, Crafts Vendors Applications for both the Hingham Holiday Market and the SoWa Holiday Market are now being accepted. Emerging Writers PEN Center USA is currently accepting applications for their Emerging Voices literary fellowship program that aims to provide new writers, who lack access, with the tools they will need to launch a professional writing career. Learn more.

Visual Artists The Irving Art Association in Irving, TX, is currently accepting entries for their 11th Annual Wildlife Juried Art Competition. Learn more.

Call for Artists The Institute for Electronic Arts (IEA) is currently accepting applications for week-long, US-based, artist residencies for traditional and digital print, video, sound, and interactive projects.  Learn more.

Photography Entries are now being accepted for the biennial Photography Book Prize from The Center For Documentary Studies and the Honickman Foundation, offering $3,000 in grant money, a solo exhibit at the Center for Documentary Studies, and publication of a book of photography, published by Duke University Press in association with CDS Books. Deadline: September 15, 2012

International Land Art Residency Applications are now being accepted for an international Land Art Workshop. This is a two-week group residency in Sang Arts Village, Sang (near Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana) from October 5-19, 2012. It is designed to bring together creative persons such as artists, architects, designers, and eco-practitioners to create works using materials from the environment. The workshop director is Professor Stuart Frost, Department of Art and Design Education, Telemark University College, Notodden, Norway. Lean more.
