Dancers Salem Arts Festival is proud to be so supportive of the performing arts, including multiple forms of dance. Through this application, dancers may apply to be considered to perform on a Tiny Stage (4’x4? platform, 5 min performance, outdoors). All performers will receive a small honorarium. Call to Artists Entries are currently being accepted by the Artists’ Group of Charlestown for their Summer 2021 Exhibition: Navy Yard Off Map. All submissions must be original – no more than 5 years old, not shown in a previous AGC exhibition in the past 2 years, and available for purchase. Submissions must not exceed 48” x 48”. Call to Artists Assets for Artists and the North Adams Artist Impact Coalition are teaming up to design a broader, more robust “North Adams Project” that will assist a small cohort of artists who live or have studio space in North Adams and who are looking to deepen their roots and/or become better engaged and active within the City. Selected artists will receive: grant of $1,000 – $4,000; a local “community liaison” who’ll help you make the connections you need to fulfill your vision for the next stage of your creative career in North Adams; access to AIC members’ extensive network of knowledge, community connections, and affiliations; professional development in the form of priority access to Assets for Artists’ financial and business workshops, and 1-on-1 coaching; access to a tight-knit group of fellow cohort members from across the North Adams arts scene. Project Grant The Awesome Foundation is a global community advancing the interest of awesome in the universe, $1000 at a time. Each fully autonomous chapter supports awesome projects through micro-grants, usually given out monthly. These micro-grants, $1000 or the local equivalent, come out of pockets of the chapter’s “trustees” and are given on a no-strings-attached basis to people and groups working on awesome projects.
