Disability, Dance, Artistry, Residency Program Dance/NYC and its program partners Gibney and Spaceworks invite people to apply for the Disability. Dance. Artistry. Residency Program, made possible by support of the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation. Dance/NYC will award residencies to up to three (3) dance artists with spinal cord injury (SCI) and/or dance ensembles working with artists with SCI. The purpose of the residency program is to expand opportunities for dancers with SCI and to advance accessibility and inclusion within the larger dance, residency, and presenting communities. Printmakers The Washington Printmakers Gallery is accepting entries to exhibit prints, photos, and artist books by artists from across the United States in its 2019 National Small Works Exhibition (August 1 through 25, 2019). This annual juried exhibition, now in its twenty-second year, attracts an exciting range of entries in both traditional and experimental printmaking techniques including intaglio, relief, woodcut, linocut, Solarplate, serigraph, digital and photographic prints, plus three dimensional works with print components. The juror is JD Talasek, Director of Cultural Programs for the National Academy of Sciences. The first prize winner will receive a solo exhibition at Washington Printmakers Gallery in 2020

Call to Artists The Mosesian Center for the Arts invites member artists to submit original two and three-dimensional work to their upcoming Member Exhibition 2019. The show will also feature a guest judge who will decide on and present a “Best in Show” cash prize and 3 “Judge’s Choice” awards to select artists in the show. There will also be a “People’s Choice” award presented to one artist that is determined by public voting conducted throughout the opening of the exhibition.
