
Urvashi Vaid Changemakers Fund Applications are currently being accepted for this grant to fund programs or projects that activate communities on Outer Cape Cod (Provincetown – Orleans) around shared challenges and that creatively build relationships across differences. Named after and based on the activism of Urvashi Vaid, the Changemakers Fund will support programs and projects with a foundation in intersectionality; projects that initiate community conversation, collaboration, or change are welcome. Individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses are encouraged to apply. Maximum grant amount is $10,000. Applications requesting up to $500 will be accepted at any time and reviewed on a rolling basis by staff. Applications for grants $501 – $10,000 are accepted annually on January 31. Projects must occur between January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by a community-based selection committee and approved by Provincetown Commons’ board of directors. Emerging Artists Group Show The Gelb Gallery, Phillips Academy, Andover, is accepting submissions to their upcoming Emerging Artists Group Show, featuring work by current college and graduate students. This exhibition celebrates the creative journeys of emerging artists and invites participants to reflect on where they began and where they’re headed. Artists must provide the following at the time of submission: artist bio information; artwork information for each entry (2 maximum per artist); signed release form; artist statement. Complete the online registration form by January 14th, drop off is on Wednesday, January 21st from 1-5 PM. Apply to Perform or Exhibit at the MA State House MassCreative is looking for artists, cultural organizations, and creative businesses to join them as exhibitors and performers at the State House on March 3, 2026. Performances and displays will be open to the public from 1 – 3 PM and all selected participants will receive a $300 stipend for their work. Artist Residency In 2014, Mount Auburn became the first cemetery in the United States to establish an artist residency program. The Artist-in-Residence (AiR) program supports the creation of new works by contemporary artists inspired by their in-depth experiences at the Cemetery that convey a fresh and innovative perspective of Mount Auburn. All materials – from the artwork itself to installation materials – will be appropriate for the outdoors and able to withstand all types of weather, including extreme heat, direct sunlight, heavy rain, and high-speed winds. The artwork may not pose any harm to the public and will not cause permanent damage to The Mount or its surrounding landscape.

Indigenous Artists, Scholars, Organizers, Cultural Workers, Researchers, and Educators Fellowship Program Forge Project is pleased to announce its open call for applications for its 2026 funded fellowship program for Indigenous artists, scholars, organizers, cultural workers, researchers, and educators. Each Forge Project Fellow receives a total of $25,000 toward their practice and will have access to the Forge Project site, libraries, and lending collection of living Indigenous artists during a residency stay of up to three weeks.
