Visual AIDS Artist Support Grant Since 1996, Visual AIDS has awarded grants to artists living with HIV who are in need of financial assistance in obtaining materials to create their artwork. Beginning in 2023, their grant program has expanded to support artists living with HIV through unrestricted grants, recognizing that artists need more than just art materials to make their work. Call to Artists For the first time, HellaBlack is introducing a dedicated Youth Edition. We are inviting artists ages 16-25 from the Black, African, African American, Afro Caribbean, and Afro Latine diaspora to join us for Hella Black Vol.8 GENESIS. Making It Public: for New England Artists Making it Public for Massachusetts Artists is expanding to support artists across New England (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT) and will focus on public art in rural places. This is a free five-week virtual workshop series designed to support artists of all disciplines in exploring and expanding their public art making practice. Sculptors Entries are currently being accepted for the Cape Cod Open Sculpture Invitational 2026. The Cape Cod Museum of Art (CCMoA) and the New England Sculptors Association (NESA) will invite all 3D artists to submit to their third joint Juried Sculpture Exhibition on the 22-acre campus of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts (30+ outdoor sites identified). Tyler School of Art and Architecture – Edgar Heap of Birds Family Artist Residency

Jazz Artists Jazz Road is a national initiative from South Arts supporting jazz artists through touring and residency grants that bring jazz into new places, strengthen artist careers, and build deeper connections with communities. Rooted in the African-American tradition, jazz thrives on connection, and this cycle is all about just that. The January 2026 theme is Jazz & Human Connection, with a focus on rural and underserved areas that Jazz Road hasn’t meaningfully reached over the past eight years. Letters of Interest (LOIs) should be submitted from: Jazz artists based in rural areas or nearby urban centers; artists with personal ties to underserved communities—through family, history, or shared cultural connection. Call to Artists Newburyport Art Association (NAA) invites sculptors to submit to the 11th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Garden Exhibition. Call to Artists The Massachusetts Environmental Trust (MET) has announced a call for art to Massachusetts artists for North Atlantic Right Whale Conservation artwork to be featured at the Trust’s Massachusetts Right Whale Day Celebration on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the New England Aquarium. Artwork must depict anatomically accurate North Atlantic right whale physical characteristics. Selected artwork will be featured in MET’s charitable online auction to benefit the Marine Mammal Conservation Program. Artists can select a 50/50 split or 100% contribution. No fee to apply.
