Emerging Native Artists Grant The Native Arts and Cultures Foundation’s (NACF) LIFT – Early Career Support for Native Artists program supports emerging Native artists through one-year awards to develop and realize new projects. These awards are a crucial investment in cultivating fresh voices and envisioning the future of our respective Native practices. Learn more.

Living Poets Project Grant 2026 Seeking poets and teaching artists. Bring poetry to life in Boston’s schools! You can propose a reading, a workshop, a collaborative writing session, or any creative format that will help BPS students get excited about poetry. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Cross-Sector Resource: Taxes for Creatives Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM. Virtual event. Join tax expert and artist Hannah Cole, founder of Sunlight Tax, for an informative session designed for creatives, freelancers, and small business owners. Learn what you can deduct, how to handle self-employment and quarterly taxes, and best practices for managing your financial life as a creative professional. The talk will conclude with a robust Q&A. Call to Artists The Natick Center Cultural District and Public Art Natick are calling for art for the 40 banners that are on poles around Natick Center. Stipend: $1,000. Learn more.

Request for Proposals On The Rise is seeking a socially engaged artist or group to create a metal tree sculpture for our Memorial Garden. On The Rise supports women and gender-diverse individuals moving through homelessness. Our Memorial Garden space honors individuals in our community who have passed away. $2500 for the design and time of the artist; additional funding for materials and installation. Call to Artists The Massachusetts Environmental Trust (MET) has announced a call for art to Massachusetts artists for North Atlantic Right Whale Conservation artwork to be featured at the Trust’s Massachusetts Right Whale Day Celebration on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the New England Aquarium. Artwork must depict anatomically accurate North Atlantic right whale physical characteristics. Selected artwork will be featured in MET’s charitable online auction to benefit the Marine Mammal Conservation Program. Artists can select a 50/50 split or 100% contribution. No fee to apply. Gloucester Artist Award The Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) is pleased to announce that it is accepting proposals for its 2026 Goetemann Gloucester Artist Award. Proposals may be submitted at any time during the year, but will be juried for the coming season in April, allowing artists sufficient time to prepare for the working month of October. Artists must live in Gloucester or have an art studio in Gloucester. Learn more.

Greener Good Market Mass Audubon is accepting applications from artists and crafters to vend at the Greener Good Market on April 4th at Boston Nature Center in Mattapan and/or on May 2nd at Magazine Beach Nature Center in Cambridge. We are looking for artists and crafters who are inspired by nature and who practice environmental sustainability. Apply here.

The Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Grant for Painters Grants are offered to American painters aged 45 or older who demonstrate financial need. The primary emphasis is to promote public awareness and a commitment to American art, as well as encouraging interest in painters who lack adequate recognition. Learn more.

Call for Vendors, Artists The Mother Brook Arts and Community Center in Dedham has two artist opportunities: a call for vendors, and call for art, for their Spring Open Studios event, May 16 – 17, 11am-5pm. Learn more.

Dracut Poet Laureate Dracut Cultural Council has announced a call for applications to serve as the inaugural Poet Laureate of the Town of Dracut. The chosen person will fill a term of two years and will plan and implement public-facing projects or events to promote poetry and the arts in Dracut. This position includes a stipend of $1000/yr to support work and time commitment, as well as access to potential project funding.
