Mass Cultural Council believes in the Power of Culture.
This week, Mass Cultural Council launched a new strategic plan. The plan, created through thousands of conversations with and input from artists, creative professionals, and other supporters of culture throughout the Commonwealth, reflects our vision, a vision where:
- Culture elevates the quality of life and well-being of all communities
- Culture drives growth and opportunity through the creative economy
- Culture is inclusive, accessible, and embraces our diversity
- Culture empowers a new generation through creative youth development and education
Mass Cultural Council is committed to supporting artists within that vision. You can also see this commitment in the fiscal year 2018 spending plan, which invests more than $12 million in the Commonwealth’s culture, including deep investments in programs that support artists.
