Artist Residency Artist-in-Residence Program at the Mosesian Center for the Arts is currently accepting applications. The residency is for emerging and mid-career artists seeking time and space to create, experiment, and grow. Submission Fee: $20 per application. Learn more.

Call to Artists The University of North Carolina Asheville (UNC Asheville) invites artists to submit entries to a Juried International Exhibition of contemporary drawing. UNC Asheville seeks to examine drawing as it is practiced and defined by today’s artists. Such an exhibition will demonstrate the continued significance of drawing through conventional and innovative methods. Accepted work will be exhibited in UNC Asheville’s S. Tucker Cooke Gallery from January 16, 2026, through February 13, 2026. Fees: entry fee: $30.00, media fee: $5.00. Learn more.

Artist-In-Residence Program New Bedford Creative, in collaboration with the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park and the College of Visual and Performing Arts at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, is now accepting applications for the 2026 Artist-in-Residence Program. Participants receive : a $2,500 stipend, both studio and exhibition space, promotional support and some supplies. Learn more.

Artist in Residence Applications are currently being accepted for the artist in residence program Arts in Nature in Bernheim Forrest, KT. Up to 4 artists are selected for residencies at Bernheim annually. One residency is always dedicated to an artist currently living in Kentucky or nearby counties in Southern Indiana, and one residency is dedicated to an artist whose work addresses environmental issues and the climate crisis. The program includes a $2500 stipend. Fees: There are no residency or application fees, but the artist is responsible for all travel and other living expenses while in residence at Bernheim. Also, consider indirect costs such as time away from your job and paying bills at home while in residence. Learn more.

Health Insurance Meeting MASSCreative’s next Artivist Town Hall on Wednesday, December 3rd at 12:30 over Zoom. Open enrollment for health insurance began on November 1st. There are a lot of changes coming with open enrollment this year and we’ve invited the Massachusetts Health Connector to join them again to answer your questions so you can get insured before open enrollment ends on January 23, 2026. Register in advance to receive the meeting information.

Professional Development for Cape and Islands Artists The Creative Exchange Capacity Grant is an initiative that gives artists the tools and resources to achieve sustainability for their creative practice. Open to residents of Cape Cod (Barnstable County), Nantucket (Nantucket County), or Martha’s Vineyard (Dukes County) Learn more.

This innovative event showcases a diverse range of categories, from the classic to the cutting-edge, reflecting the festival’s commitment to embracing the evolving landscape of media. Support for Boston Choreographers, Circus Artists Next Steps for Boston Dance (now managed by The Philanthropic Initiative) provides multi-layered support for Greater Boston’s choreographers and Circus Artists. This grant includes paid rehearsal space, project implementation funds, and mentorship. Online info sessions occur on December 6th and 9th. Learn more.

Call for Art The Framingham Cultural Council is accepting entries for their 2025 exhibition – Moving. The Framingham Cultural Council is co-hosting an Art on the Trail exhibition with Friends of the Framingham Trails in 2026. Its called A.R.T. on the C.R.T (Cochituate Rail Trial). The Framingham Cultural Council encourages artists of all disciplines to participate and share their unique perspectives on movement and transition. A maximum of 10 artists will be selected, and accepted artists will receive a $500 stipend. The submission fee of $25 is non-refundable. Learn more.

Call For Artists Lynch Family Skatepark Artist-in-Residence Program. The Charles River Conservancy (CRC) invites artists to apply for their 2026 Graffiti/Street Artist-in-Residence program at the Lynch Family Skatepark. This summer-long residency offers an opportunity for a local artist to serve as both an ambassador of the skatepark and a representative of its vibrant culture from May 2026 – September 2026. The program aims to curate a sense of belonging and highlight and uplift voices that have been traditionally underrepresented in public spaces, including BIPOC, queer, women, transgender, non-binary, and/or disabled artists. Call for Exhibition Proposals The Umbrella is currently seeking proposals for their 2026/27 season (September 2026-June 2027). Proposals can be submitted by curators, individual artists, or a group of artists. If you are a juror that would like to submit a proposal or resume for future consideration, please reach out to the Visual Arts Manager prior to submission. The Umbrella Art Center’s Galleries present contemporary art primarily featuring regional artists in their two gallery spaces, as well as select outdoor installations. Seeking exhibitions that are bold, engaging, fun, educational, and create opportunities for constructive cultural conversations and explorations. The Umbrella presents four shows annually in the Allie Kussin Gallery, and three to five shows in the Wedge Gallery. Exhibitions usually run 1-4 months depending on the organization’s calendar and the exhibition’s needs. Exhibits include curated and juried shows, as well as solo and community exhibitions, and feature a wide range of media and themes. Learn more.

Call for Art Ramble Proposals The Umbrella Arts Center presents an annual temporary outdoor public art installation called the Art Ramble, in collaboration with the Concord Natural Resources Division. This is a long-standing and beloved tradition in Concord, MA. The Ramble is usually located around the Fairyland Pond in the Hapgood Wright Town Forest. Previous Rambles have been juried and themed group exhibitions. Learn more.

Call for Installation Proposals The Umbrella is looking to activate a Vertical Gallery space in the building’s atrium. This space is ideal for installations that hang or “float”. Above the atrium is a large skylight that lets natural light in throughout the day. Surrounding the atrium is the Wedge Gallery, their Black Box theater, and classrooms. The installation will be visible from 360 degrees and must engage viewers from all angles. Lightweight materials are preferred and must comply with fire codes. The Umbrella is currently seeking proposals for an installation during their 2026/27 season (September 2026-June 2027). This installation will be up for up to six months. Learn more.

2026 Creative Forces Community Engagement Grant These grants to organizations across the nation support non-clinical, community-based arts engagement programming designed to support health, well-being, and quality of life for military and veteran populations, including family members and caregivers.
