Find Affordable, Appropriate Creative Spaces on SpaceFinder Mass

SpaceFinder Mass

You’ve got the artistic vision – for the theatre production, the art exhibition, the dance performance,  the music ensemble – but what you need is space.

Head to SpaceFinder Mass, which includes creative spaces for rent throughout Massachusetts. (Of the 300+ spaces currently listed, 50% are outside of Greater Boston.) This free online service can quickly connect you to available and affordable performance, rehearsal, and other types of creative spaces. Profiles for new spaces are being added each week.

You can manage your search criteria to find rental space to fit your budget, your time frame, and the creative needs of your project. Many spaces list their calendars and some offer online booking options, making the space selection process that much easier.

SpaceFinder Mass was developed by the artists service organization Fractured Atlas and is a project of the Arts and Business Council of Boston. We (MCC) are a proud partner in the project, along with StageSource and Boston Dance Alliance.

Find a Rental on SpaceFinder Mass.

While you’re at it, you may want to investigate Fractured Atlas programs for artists, including fiscal sponsorship, international artist visas, ticket/donation/fan-tracking software, and more. Also, the Arts & Business Council has a portfolio of professional development programs for artists including the Essential Training for the Arts (ETA), Artist’s Professional Toolbox (APT), and Musician’s Professional Toolbox (MPT), among others. It also offers fiscal sponsorship and pro bono legal services through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
