Boston Area Nonfiction Filmmakers The Harvard Film Study Center-LEF Fellowship an opportunity for one Boston area filmmaker to receive a $15,000 grant and access to FSC’s pool of production and post-production equipment and community, will be accepting applications starting in early December. Public Artists America 250 Call for Art: Temporary Public Art Project. The Town of Sandwich, through the Glass Town Cultural District Steering Committee, invites artists and artist teams to propose a temporary, three-year public artwork that reflects the town’s rich history and creative spirit. Budget: $9,500 (includes artist stipend, materials, installation, and maintenance during the three-year period). Open to all artists, artisans, architects, landscape architects or teams with experience in public art or site responsive design. Artists do not need to be residents of Sandwich; however, they must be able to travel to Sandwich, MA for meetings, site visits, installation, and maintenance as required. Learn more.

Free Creative Business Workshop Art & Ambition: Effectively Balancing Business and Art is a workshop for creative entrepreneurs who are building something bigger than themselves, yet often struggle with the tension between passion and profitability, creativity and commerce, vision and burnout. Fine Arts Work Center Writing Fellowship The Fine Arts Work Center is currently accepted applications for their even-month residencies to a juried group of emerging visual artists, fiction writers, and poets. Each Fellow receives an apartment, a studio (for visual artists), and a monthly stipend of $1,250 plus an exit stipend of $1,000. Residencies run from October 1 through April 30. During this time, Fellows have the opportunity to pursue their work independently in a diverse and supportive community of peers. Exhibition Proposals The Mosesian Center for the Arts is accepting proposals for the 2026 exhibition cycle. Individual artists or groups of artists are welcome to apply. Given the size of the space individual artists may be paired with other artists if the work allows, makes sense conceptually, or shares some connections and promotes dialogue between the bodies of work. All media such as painting, printmaking, drawing, illustration, photography, 3D, mixed media, video, animation and sound will be considered. For art sales, artists receive 60% commission, and the Mosesian Center for the Arts receives 40% for art sold during the exhibition. A Non-Refundable Application Fee: $40. Call for Sculptures The Mount is accepting submissions to Sculpture at The Mount, a juried exhibition of 20-25 artworks installed throughout the woods, gardens, and grounds of Edith Wharton’s historic estate (Sunday, May 31 – Saturday, October 24, 2026). The 2026 Sculpture at The Mount exhibition will celebrate the theme of FLOURISH, showcasing artwork that conveys connection, growth, hope, flora and fauna, resilience, and the ways that a community thrives by bringing people together. A $1,000 honorarium will be awarded to each accepted artist. Sculptures may be offered for sale with 70% of the sale price going to the artist, and a 30% commission going to The Mount. Printmakers Boston Printmakers 2026 North American Print Biennial. Presenting the best in contemporary and traditional printmaking, the North American Print Biennial has long been recognized as one of the most prestigious events in printmaking. Founded in 1947, the mission of the Boston Printmakers is to promote public knowledge of printmaking, encourage and support artists working in printmaking, and promote excellence and innovation within the field of printmaking. The juror is Esther Adler is Curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Museum of Modern Art.
